1. What makes Trim My Fur different from pet shops?

• As we are a home-based grooming salon, we are able to give your dog undivided, one to one attention throughout their grooming. 
• You can put your mind at ease as the same groomer will be tending to your pet's grooming needs from the beginning till the end.
• Your pets do not have to face pressure/influence from other dogs (other than our resident dog), which we kept away during grooming. 
• As we are not commercialized, we take our time in grooming your pets to perfection. We do not use (shortcut) methods, we take time to brush your dog and fluff dry them so that they look good.

2. Why are you expensive even though you don't have to pay for rentals?

• We do have our own overheads to cover, such as water bills, electrical bills and cost of products and equipment. We do not position ourselves as the cheapest in town, and we hope you can appreciate and recognize our grooming skills while we take time to go for upgrading courses, maintaining and servicing our equipment to meet the changing market demands.

3. Can I stay and watch my dog being groomed?

• We do not encourage you to do so, because dogs are easily distracted. They may get hurt or distracted during grooming while trying to go over to play with you or to seek for your attention.

4. How long will the grooming take?

• It depends on how cooperative is your dog and the service you have requested for. The more complicated the service (E.g - Fur Trimming), the longer the time taken.

As a general guideline for you:

• Basic Grooming : 1.5 ~ 2hours
• Full Grooming/Full body shave down : 2 - 3hours
  
• We appreciate that you do not rush us to complete the service, while we do the best for your dogs. Rushing through the grooming service may result in unsatisfactory results.

5. When can I start full grooming for my puppy?

• We recommend them to start from 5 months onwards. This is a general guide. Every dog differs, but you can start them for basic grooming and we can access their behavior from there.

6. What is the difference between basic grooming and full grooming?

• Basic grooming does not include fur trimming services. It includes nail cutting, ear cleaning, shaving of hygiene areas, showering & fluff dry. While full grooming includes trimming or shaving of furs on top of other services in basic grooming.
